• International Competition (Short film competition)
• Young Animation (Student film competition)
• Tricks for Kids - shorts and series(Competition for short films and TV series for children)
• Cartoons for Teens (Competition for animated series, anime series and cut scenes from computer games)
• AniMovie (Feature-length film competition)

The unique combination of the Festival of Animated Film, the Animation Production Day and FMX – Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia has established the event as one of the most important platforms for financing and developing animation projects. At the Festival, the future of animation film is put to the test and the interfaces between animation, computer games, architecture, contemporary art and real-time media are explored.
